The port works sector has particular characteristics, with the services being performed in a maritime or fluvial environment, thus, a large portion of the work front should be located on a water depth with varying depths. Each work then has a detailed study of its particularities, privileging the best technical alternative for its execution.

Such works rely on the execution of special foundations where sheet piles, pre-cast piles or steel piles are usually pile drive. Through the analysis of the profile of the work, the piles can be finalized in soil or embedded in the rocky component, using the reverse circulation technique.
